The first to come to mind is physical abuse. Where one partner, typically the male, uses physical power to control, influence, and force obedience. This is a sickly method of empowerment that manifests with time. Before I get into my experience with relationship abuse Im going to go through the basic medically recognized forms of relationship abuse and reflect on each. This information is important in first giving you the knowledge to recognize and take action when appropriate, and also understand my story and message better.

According to the national government program Violence Prevention Initiative violence and various other forms of abuse are essentially understood as a set pattern of behaviors for the purpose of establishing and maintaining master control over colleagues, students, family, friends, and sexual partners.

This can be in group format or individually. Frequently the violent offenders are known to their victims, but strangers also commit acts of abuse.Examples Of Sexual Assault- Pushing someone to have sex after they have said no.- Intimidating or pressuring someone to have sex or engage in sexual activity.- Touching, feeling, or kissing thats not wanted.- Pushing sex on you when you arent physically well (medical/health issues)- Refusing to use protection or not allowing the women to protect herself.- Continuously pressuring someone to perform sexual acts they dont want to.
